This capsule contains information on the cross-glow pervaporation technology developed by ZENON Environmental, Inc. (ZENON). he technology is designed to remove volatile organic compounds (VOC) from aqueous media. n early 1995, a full-scale ZENON system was evaluated at a former disposal areas on Naval Air Station North Island (NASNI) in Coronada, CA. roundwater at the site is contaminated with trichloroethane (TCE) and other organic compounds. esults of the demonstration are summarized in the Performance Data section of this capsule. esults from a 1993 pilot-scale SITE demonstration of the technology in Burlington, Ontario, Canada, are also summarized in the Performance Data section.
