Citation:
Kosusko*, M AND C Nunez*. DESTRUCTION OF VOLATILE ORGANIC COMPOUNDS USING CATALYTIC OXIDATION. JOURNAL OF THE AIR & WASTE MANAGEMENT ASSOCIATION 40(2):254-259, (1990).
Impact/Purpose:
Published Journal Article
Description:
The paper discusses the application of catalytic oxidation to four types of air emission sources: (1) groundwater stripping operations, (2) graphic arts facilities, (3) f1exographic printing plants, and (4) latex monomer production. Characteristics of each of these emissions are discussed, along with the catalytic technology used to control them. In addition to key emission stream characteristics, the paper discusses hazardous air pollutant characteristics that affect the applicability of catalytic oxidation.
