Related EMPACT documents were displayed at the National Estuary Day Celebration held in Washington, DC, September 30-Octuber 4, 2002. The estuary monitoring technology transfer handbooks displayed were prepared based on information and monitoring technologies developed from select EMPACT estuary monitoring projects. The handbook provides detailed "How-to" steps needed to design, employ and maintain the water quality monitoring, data delivery and communication systems used in these monitoring projects, as well as, highlight lessons learned and success stories.
