Description:
This document is a project plan for a pilot study at the United Chrome NPL site, Corvallis, Oregon and includes the health and safety and quality assurance/quality control plans. The plan reports results of a bench-scale study of the treatment process as iieasured by the Toxicity Characteristic Leaching Procedure (TCLP) test. The purpose of this study, conducted by Firestone Resource, Inc., was to evaluate the effectiveness of soil stabilization technologies to reduce the leaching of heavy metals and to "pretreat" contaminated soils for subsequent off-site management.
