Description:
This report describes the results of laboratory studies on KPEG treatment of synthetic soils contaminated with a variety of compounds, both organic and inorganic. The U.S. EPA provided soils to Wright State University to conduct the KPEG study. Problems were encountered in obtaining homogeneous soil samples and in the analysis of contaminants in the soils and in the analysis for VOCs in the reaction products of the KPEG treatment tests.
