Description:
This report assists landfill owners and operators in complying with requirements under authority of subtitle D of the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) and Section 405 of the Clean Water Act. A series of 2-day seminars were presented in 14 different locations during the summer of 1992. The goal was to present state-of-the-art information on the proper design, construction, operation and closure of municipal solid waste landfills. This seminar publication is a documented summary of the technical information presented at the seminars.
