TREATMENT PLANTS IN THE SANITARY SEWER SYSTEMS, NEUSE RIVER WATERSHED, NC
Description:
The North Carolina Rural Economic Development Center (NCREDC) in conjunction with Hobbs, Upchurch & Associates developed the digital location and information of sewer treatment plants as mapped by individual system owners as required by contract. The data collected will facilitate planning, siting and impact analysis in the 70 individual counties of North Carolina. This file enables the user to make various county-level determinations when used in conjunction with other data layers. This data contains information on sewerage treatment plants as defined by NCREDC. Information includes: Waste water treatment plant (WWTP) ID, original construction year, latest renovation date, permitted plant capacity, maximum daily flow, average daily flow, type of treatment, Sludge disposal technology, estimate of I/I and facility area in acres. Other coverages exist with sewer lines and other appurtenances.
