LAND USE/LAND COVER , NEUSE RIVER WATERSHED, NC (RASTER VERSION)
Description:
EOSAT and the North Carolina State University Computer Graphics Center, in cooperation with the NC Center for Geographic Infor- mation and Analysis, developed the Land Use/Land Cover digital data to enhance planning, siting and impact analysis in the Albemarle-Pamlico Estuarine Study area and the rest of Eastern North Carolina. The data layer enables the user to identify areas depicting human uses of the land, vegetation, water, natural surface, and construction in this area. The raw data was classified, run through a 5x5 pixel filter, tiled into standard USGS 1:100,000-scale map extents, and is stored in a tiled library. This data set is a raster version of the Land Use/Land Cover, Neuse River Watershed, NC data set (EIMS ID#12220). A buffered version of the data set is also available (EIMS ID#12349).
