Description:
A one-day short course will instill the usefulness of environmental modeling with respect to understanding mining-related impacts. It will focus on the development aspects of modeling rather than the numerical computations. The course will encompass the basics of sensitivity analysis, sources of uncertainty in hydrogeochemical modeling at mine sites and recommendations for improvement, and how to test various scenarios.
