Description:
A potential effect of climate change is modification of the geographic distribution of fish species. To predict this modification it is necessary to estimate temperature tolerances of fishes and then relate these tolerances to the changing environment. This technique will allow for accurate improved estimation of habitat loss and gain under various global warming scenarios.
