Impact/Purpose:

Premise plumbing modeling is a relatively new field of research focused on understanding what happens to water within premise plumbing systems. These chapters focus on presenting the theory and some examples of water quality modeling for premise plumbing systems. These chapters set out to summarize the range of topics identified by the premise plumbing modeling task committee and provide a state of the science review for those modeling activities. They hope to promote future research in premise plumbing modeling by highlighting both what has been done and what still needs to be done. The overall book captures many topics related to premise plumbing modeling and how they might be used to solve associated problems. These chapters and the overall book may be of interest broadly, but will likely be focused more directly on researchers/academics doing associated research.
