CHARACTERIZATION OF EXHAUST EMISSIONS FROM LIGHT-DUTY GAS VEHICLES IN THE KANSAS CITY METROPOLITAN AREA
Citation:
Impact/Purpose:
OTAQ emission factor and inventory developers will use the results of this study, which is intended to determine the distribution of particulate matter (PM) emissions in a randomly selected fleet of light-duty vehicles, to revise the emission models (MOBILE currently, MOVES under development) to more accurately reflect actual PM emissions and size distributions.
Description:
This research program on light duty vehicle emissions is being performed under an interagency agreement. It will provide current information on particulate matter emissions and distributions from light-duty vehicles, an area where more and better data are necessary to meet the needs of inventory development and regulatory support efforts.
