Development of Biofuel Scenarios to 2050: A Workshop Report (External Review Draft)
Description:
EPA conducted interviews and a two-day workshop with experts from government agencies, academia, industry, and non-governmental organizations to develop four possible scenarios that describe the potential state of biofuels in 2050. This report describes the planning process used to develop these scenarios, which will help scientists explore future biofuel development in a meaningful way that is consistent across agencies and organizations. These qualitative scenarios can be used to develop quantitative inputs for a variety of models that can inform on a range of environmental consequences resulting from these four potential biofuel development pathways.
