2006 Environmental Training Institute for Small Communities

Overview

For the seventh consecutive year, the National Environmental Services Center (NESC) is hosting the Environmental Training Institute for Small Communities© in Morgantown, West Virginia. Participants come from around the region and country to learn about drinking water, wastewater, utility management, and financial issues as they relate to small and rural communities. The Institute has garnered a reputation for being both informative and enjoyable.

Courses pertaining to water security include:

• Incident command procedures for crisis and disaster situations
• Lessons learned from Hurricane Katrina recovery efforts

Intended Audience: Technical assistance providers, State regulatory officials, Environmental trainers, Community leaders, Planners, Utility managers, and Treatment system staff

Cost:
$319.00 (all four days)
$115.00 (per day for single day registration)
