Arizona: ADEQ's 2006 Vulnerability Assessment and Emergency Response Plan WorkshopsOverview The workshops will include information on the National Incident Management System, which establishes standardized incident management processes, protocols and procedures that all responders--Federal, state, tribal and local -- will use to coordinate and conduct response actions. Part of each workshop will include attendee participation in a table-top exercise simulating a possible incident at a public water facility. A great opportunity to improve your communication network and learn emergency response techniques and public health preparedness for your community. This training counts as 12 Professional Development Hours (PDH). PDH's are hours that are earned by taking training designed for operators to maintain certification and to enhance capacity and expertise. The Arizona Operator Certification Program requires PDHs for certificate renewal. Intended Audience: Owners and operators of drinking water and wastewater systems; Public and industrial entities in Arizona communities
