Maine: Vulnerability Assessment & Emergency Response Planning for Small Public Water SystemsOverview Emergencies can come in many different forms and can affect all types of water systems. Conducting a vulnerability assessment and preparing an emergency response plan can help water systems respond to emergencies in a more efficient manner. The Maine Drinking Water Program has prepared a Public Water System Emergency Handbook and each system will receive a handbook designed for systems serving less than 3,300 people. These books will be tailored to each individual system that pre-registers at least two weeks prior to the class. Intended Audience: Small community water systems, Mobile home parks, Schools, Businesses and, Nursing homes
