Current NHSRC Opportunities

The National Homeland Security Research Center (NHSRC) of the United States Environmental Protection Agency is accepting applications beginning March 29, 2011 through April 11, 2011 for one, federal, three-year, post-doctoral research position. Under the National Security Strategy, EPA is the lead federal agency for remediation following significant contamination events involving chemical, biological, or radiological (CBR) agents, as well as for drinking water and wastewater security. NHSRC is seeking highly-qualified candidates to conduct high-priority research in areas such as: decontaminating buildings and open areas, societal responses to disasters, risk management and communications, and protecting water supplies and water infrastructure. NHSRC post-doctoral positions may be located in any of the following locations: Cincinnati, Ohio, Washington, DC and Research Triangle Park, NC

  • Applicants must be United States citizens.
  • Relocation expenses will not be paid.
