Major EPA Dockets contains information on the collections and services of the Agency's docket programs. It is designed as a guide for EPA staff, other government agencies and the public who require information about EPA reulmakings. Rulemaking, or regulation development as it is called in EPA, is defined as the agency process for formulating, amending, or repealing a rule. Rules establish the particular policies and procedures used in carrying out the statutory goals established by Congress. |
