Abstract

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has several activities that require speciated particulate matter (PM) or volatile organic compound (VOC) profiles from several source categories. In an effort to update the available speciated PM profile data base, EPA has initiated studies to update various reference manuals. The document updates the PM profiles in the Air Emissions Species Manual, Volume II with new information obtained from contacts with principal researchers in the field of PM species profiles and source receptor modeling. The new profiles were developed using the procedures and protocols specified in the original Air Emissions Species Manual, Volume II. The profiles are based on data submitted by the researchers.
