| Abstract |
This executive-level report gives an overview of some of the more advanced fossil fuel technologies, including several Chemical Coal Cleaning and Liquid Fuels Cleaning methods. Synthetic fuels, Chemically Active Fluid Beds, and Oil Shale are also considered as viable advanced processes and control technologies. The overview includes a discussion of these processes, state-of-the-art, and environmental impacts which are being, or have been, investigated. (Color illustrations reproduced in black and white) |
