||The intent of this work was to test the reported observation that o,p'-DDT is isomerically converted to p,p'-DDT by the rat o,p'-DDT at 50 ppm in the feed was fed to 12 of 24 female Sprague-Dawley rats weighing 200-250 g for 12 wk. The levels of p,p'-DDT or p,p'-DDE was not increased over the control levels in any of the 12 rats receiving 50 ppm o,p'-DDT for 12 wk. 14C-labeled o,p'-DDT was converted to 14C-labeled o,p'-DDD, but not to 14C-labeled p,p'-DDT or 14C-labeled p,p'-DDE.
