Abstract

For each of six major cities, summaries of hourly average concentrations of carbon monoxide, nitric oxide, nitrogen dioxide, sulfur dioxide, total hydrocarbon, and total oxidant are tabulated. The cities are Chicago, Cincinnati, Denver, Philadelphia, St. Louis, and Washington, D. C. Summaries of 2-hour measurements of soiling index are also tabulated for each city except Denver. Brief summaries of monthly means and maximums, and annual frequency distributions of data are also tabulated. (Author)
