| Abstract |
Male Albino Wistar strain rats, weighing approximately 200 to 300 g, were in good health when received from our local supplier, and remained in good health during the equilibration period in this laboratory, at least one week. The animals were housed in wire mesh cages in a temperature controlled room reserved exclusively for rats on acute tests. Tap water and fresh Purina Rat Chow were freely available except for approximately 18 hours prior to dosing when food was removed. The cages and rooms were kept clean in accordance with the standards of AAALAC of which this laboratory is an approved member. |
