| Abstract | This report is intended to provide a high level summary of information for federal, state, and local regulators, site owners and operators, consultants, and other stakeholders on the applicability of existing and emerging non-combustion technologies for the remediation of POPs in stockpiles and soil. The report provides short descriptions of these technologies and evaluates them based on the POPs treated, media treated, pretreatment requirements, performance and cost. Case studies provided show the various considerations associated with selecting a non-combustion technology. |
