The report is an extensive compilation of data on the effects of chemicals on aquatic life which were extracted from literature published during the period 1968-1972. It is an update of an earlier report entitled 'Water Quality Criteria Data Book, Volume III, Effects of Chemicals on Aquatic Life.' The data are arranged alphabetically by chemical and are concisely represented in a columnar format which includes organism names, type of study, chemical effect, controlled parameters, significant comments on the test, and source of the data. The data were compiled using a program prepared as part of the work. |
