Abstract
Standards of Performance for the control of emissions from air oxidation processes in the synthetic organic chemical manufacturing industry are being proposed under the authority of Section 111 of the Clean Air Act. These standards would apply to new, modified, and reconstructed air oxidation facilities. This document contains background information and environmental and economic impact assessments of the regulatory alternatives considered in developing proposed standards.
