Abstract
At the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), our vision is for all people in all communities to enjoy the same degree of protection from environmental risks and health hazards and to have equal access to the governments decisionmaking processes regarding environmental and public health. The overarching goal for the Agencys Environmental Justice Program is to integrate environmental justice considerations effectively into all EPA programs, policies, and activities, to achieve measurable benefits to the environment and/or public health of affected communities.
