| Abstract |
The survey was undertaken as part of the U.S. Public Health Service program of industrial waste studies for the purpose of determining volume and characteristics of liquid wastes resulting from various manufacturing processes. The primary objectives of the study were to obtain original and additional data to supplement existing information on individual and combined wastes of a kraft pulp and paper mill at Panama City, Fla. Information obtained from this study is to be combined in an unidentifiable manner with data obtained from similar mills in the preparation of an industrial waste guide. |
