Abstract
This project was initiated to evaluate the effects of livestock pasturing in the humid regions of the United States on the quality of nonpoint surface runoff. Three pasturing regimes which are more commonly practiced in the corn belt states were evaluated to determine their potential contribution to nonpoint source pollution. This information is useful in determining optimal practices which will lead to the development of Best Management Practices (BMPs).
