Abstract

In providing Federal funds for the construction of certain sewage treatment facilities, the Act requires that the parties to this undertaking follow a series of steps designed to insure that the best possible project results from the time, effort and money expended. This handbook has been prepared to assist municipal officials in this effort. It contains a summary of the requirements of the Construction Grants Program and the responsibilities that each participant bears.
