The document draws on the body of work developed by the Hazard/Risk Assessment Committee (HRAC) of the Integrated Chlorinated Solvents Project, an interagency workgroup. For the present, EPA scientists have used methods that result in an approximate ninefold reduction from previous unit estimates which were based on applied dose.
