Abstract
Data reported in an abstract indicate that 5-aminoacenaphthene increased the incidence of bladder carcinomas in mice following implantation of paraffin wax pellets containing this compound into the bladder and that it produced leukaemias following its intraperitoneal injection. No evaluation of the carcinogenicity of 5-aminoacenaphthene can be made on the basis of the available data.
