Abstract
The Technical Bulletin Fine Particles No. 80 describes the production by flame hydrolysis of the colloidal Titanium Dioxide P 25 and its modifications. It explains why the extremely fine Titanium Dioxide P 25 does not have pigment characteristics, describes the surface chemistry and discusses its function in sun creams, catalytic converters and the improved heat stability in silicone rubbers. A literature reference and a brief list of technical terms complete the Technical Bulletin.
