EPA conducted a peer review of the scientific basis supporting the human health hazard and dose-response assessment of chlordecone that will appear on the Integrated Risk Information System (IRIS) database.
This assessment contains the derivation of an oral reference dose for chronic exposure and a qualitative evaluation of suggestive carcinogenic potential.
|2004||The chlordecone IRIS assessment was initiated in 2004. Chlordecone was nominated for assessment by the Superfund Technical Support Center. An assessment for chlordecone is not currently on IRIS.|
