Scientific Credibility

The Global Change Research Program is committed to high standards of scientific excellence. This goal is achieved through extensive use of independent peer reviews, public access to data and information produced by the program's intramural and extramural researchers, and readily-available information about the program's activities.

The program also maintains strong support for extramural research. Grants are awarded through a peer-reviewed competitive process.

Our goal is to have an open program and this website is one vehicle for sharing information. It provides a portal through which scientists, analysts, and the public can access:

  • up-to-date information about the program's research and assessment activities
  • research data
  • documents
  • project descriptions and updates
  • workshop announcements and proceedings
  • analytic tools

We welcome any questions or comments you have about the Global Change Research Program.
