Definition: A code identifying a CERCLIS/WasteLAN action. An action is a specific response, non-response (generic), support, enforcement (e.g., response negotiations, settlement actions, litigation), or non-site specific response or support action within the Superfund program. Includes codes for milestones that occur during the period in which an action is performed.
Datatype, Length:   varchar2(2)
Relationship to Other Data Elements: Multiple occurrences of values in rat_code at a site are distinguished by the sequential values stored in act_code_id in the uaction table.
